Ken Oakley

Ken Oakley is a dynamic trainer, leadership consultant, and certified professional co-active coach, dedicated to helping people achieve their full potential. With over 25 years of experience in personal growth and human development, he works with both individuals and groups to increase overall effectiveness and job satisfaction.

Ken is an accredited Professional Certified Coach and member of the International Coach Federation (ICF). He earned his credential as a Certified Co-Active Coach (CPCC) from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) in San Rafael, California. He received advanced leadership training from CTI and Landmark Education Corporation. He is certified in the EQi, EQ360, and The Leadership Circle Profile assessments.

In addition to his private coaching practice, he leads leadership and coaching courses worldwide as part of the faculty of a number of different organizations, including the Coaches Training Institute, Duquesne University, and Exponents. His work has garnered accolades from professional, small business, corporate and personal clients.

Prior to his certification and experience in professional coaching, Ken was a key officer and major stockholder in a corporation in the field of emotional intelligence training practices. Project work included providing educational briefings on health-related topics for broadcast executives throughout the United States.

Ken graduated summa cum laude from the University of California in Santa Barbara.

Carol Ross

Carol Ross, founder of Carol Ross and Associates, LLC , is an executive coach and organization development consultant with over 20 years experience in the telecommunications and energy industries. She is particularly effective in working with intelligent, analytical professionals to engage whole brain thinking. As a result, individuals and groups experience greater creativity and ease in their work and balance in their life. Corporate clients include Avaya, Caterpillar, Celestial Seasonings and Nelnet.
As an internal consultant for Lucent and then Avaya, she created programs to increase the retention rate of top-ranked employees; build a culture of appreciation through innovative rewards and recognition; and inspire employees to take responsibility for their own careers.

Carol understands how companies work from the ground up. Her beliefs about what is possible in the workplace stems from her experience as an engineer and project manager inside large companies. Carol supervised unionized technicians, led teams of software developers, and worked on improving business processes for telephone billing. She worked in nuclear power plants for Exelon, a Chicago-based energy company, as well as software research and development groups within Telcordia, US WEST, Lucent, and Avaya. She found her calling when she transitioned into work that focused on the human side of business.
Carol is an experienced facilitator. Her work is marked by a focus on creating learning for the group, in the moment. She has a light, playful touch that engages the participants. Her authenticity and humor combine with sharp insight to create an extraordinary learning experience.

Carol has been quoted in U S News and World Report and the Boston Globe. Past speaking engagements include the International Coach Federation Conference and Columbia Business School. She is the creator of three iTunes podcasts, including Leading With A Whole New Mind, interviews with whole brain thinkers about the rise of the creative right-brain to be competitive in a left-brained world.
She is currently working on a podcast for Northwestern University–conversations with leading thinkers on the essential ingredients for an extraordinary career.
